Objective
• Design a landing page and digital ad which promote the Pixellot camera.
• Include a desktop and mobile version of the landing page.
• Base the designs off the NFHS Network style guide and the provided content matrix.
Solution
• I chose to place the form towards the bottom of the page, after all the product details. This allows a user to learn more information before being asked to sign up.
• To ensure we also capture the users who were immediately interested and not as concerned learning the specifics, I added a CTA button at the top.
• When designing the ad, I kept the tagline very clear and also included the offer, of free units, to entice users to click for more information.
Process
• To get started I reviewed the current NFHS Network website, noting how colors, fonts and other elements were currently being used.
• Then I reviewed the provided content and quickly sketched a few initial ideas, trying to work through the best hierarchy for each element.
• Due to time constraints, I did not create any wireframes. Instead I loaded all the brand elements and set up a few basic styles. Then proceeded creating the design.
