I was brought into this project after the initial proposal, so the first the first step I took was confirming all details with the client to ensure I fully understood their expectations. I was transparent discussing pricing, production and the finishing options  and also found out how this item would ultimately be used to ensure we were on the same page with the client and were offering the best solution. I also discovered new logistical requirements that we were able to proactively address preventing last minute delays.

Next I worked closely with the production team to develop a realistic timeline. Small issues arose such as material shortage, excessive print time, bag weight and last minute stand changes, but our production team was incredible and stayed flexible putting in the extra effort to stay on schedule.

The last unknown that needed to come together for this project to be a success, was the finishing. Our original thought was to hire a graffiti artist to paint the bag, but after running some vinyl samples we determined wrapping the bag would allow a more detailed finish, plus enable us to keep control over the timing and cost. It's amazing how many paper bag backgrounds are out there, that don't look anything like paper bags at full scale. We were able to design a successful background, added in some shadows to help make the bag look realistic and hit the brand colors exactly. The install team did a great job applying the graphics to the bag and were able to get that completing faster than expected. Our team was able to crate the bag and ship it out a day early. The final product came together beautifully and made a great impression on this client.
